Komm, Heiliger Geist, erfülle die Herzen deiner Gläubigen und entzünde in ihnen das Feuer deiner Liebe.
V: Sende aus deinen Geist – und alles wird neu geschaffen.
A: Und du wirst das Angesicht der Erde erneuern.
V: Lasst uns beten:
A: Gott, du hast die Herzen deiner Gläubigen durch die Erleuchtung des Heiligen Geistes gelehrt. Gib, dass wir in diesem Geiste erkennen, was recht ist, und allezeit seinen Trost und seine Hilfe erfahren. Darum bitten wir durch Christus, unsern Herrn.

Veni, Sancte Spiritus, reple tuorum corda fidelium; et tui amoris in eis ignem accende.
V: Emitte Spiritum tuum, et creabuntur.
R: Et renovabis faciem terrae.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and kindle in them the fire of Thy love.
Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.
And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray. O God, Who did instruct the hearts of Thy faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation, through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
